Deliberately little to tell.

This site uses no advertising cookies and no cross-site trackers, loads nothing from external servers, and deletes check data automatically after thirty days. Everything is stored on servers in Frankfurt, inside the European Union.

We do use two kinds of cookies. Necessary ones, which need no consent: a cookie storing your choice about statistics, so we do not have to ask again, and a secure session cookie for our own admin page. And statistics, only with your explicit consent: if you decline or make no choice, nothing is measured and no request leaves your browser. Declining takes exactly as much effort as accepting, nothing is pre-selected, and no profile is built.

If you leave your email address, we use it only for the updates you selected, never for anything else, and every message contains an unsubscribe link. Visitor statistics, when enabled, run through a cookieless method that identifies no individual persons, so no cookie banner is needed.
