Frequently asked in Eindhoven
I moved to Eindhoven for work. Can I still have my rent reviewed?
Within six months of your contract start you can have the initial rent reviewed with retroactive effect. After that, review remains possible for rent controlled and mid-rent homes, and service charges and defects can always be brought to the Tribunal.
My apartment is rented furnished. Does that change the count?
The points count concerns the home itself. For furniture the landlord may charge a reasonable fee on top of the base rent, but that fee falls under the service charges and can be tested separately.

Just signed a contract? Within six months an excessive initial rent can be lowered retroactively. A procedure costs 25 euros, refunded when you win. And if you would rather hand it all over: we take your case, no cure no pay.
